High relief paintings

This is a piece of work that I use texture and paint together to create a picture. I use my texture to sculpture in the foreground with a pallet knife and a couple of brushes. I let it dry then I paint in the background and over the foreground to give a unique look of high relief.

Most of my artwork is of when I was a boy on my journey up-and-down those old dirt roads in Georgia, of people places and things. Most of my work is on canvas and my medium is Genesis oil paints. Sometimes I use a texture medium to make a 3-D high relief painting. And there is the Buckeye paintings; beautiful little landscape waterfalls, streams, little moon phases and other characters. The reason I called them Buckeye paintings is because they catch the eye and get the buck. Bob Ross called them happy little paintings, and they are, I called them bread and butter paintings and because they are my bread and butter paintings, I sell them as I paint them usually at live art shows and now on the Internet. Take a look at this display on the right. These paintings may already be sold, but if you like one, I will paint you one to match. All my paintings are somewhat different it will still be close to the one you choose.These paintings are oils on a 16" by 20"stretched canvas for $95.
